Programming meets weekly

The gardens club was in partnership with 4H of Hamilton County. Our students worked on an indoor gardening unit where they focused on seed growth. They were able to germinate seeds in water until the roots were strong enough to take home and plant in soil, made terrariums, made indoor herb gardens to take home. Students also learned to prep soil in the courtyard for seeds, conducting pollination experiments, learning about invasive species and about the plants that grow naturally and thrive in our neighborhood!

Programming meets weekly

Our students loved learning about healthy eating, making recipes for snacks and practiced kitchen safety skills. Students were able to take home recipes for an at home cookbook including omelets, quesadillas, fruit salad with a sweet dip, and other tasty treats!
