Monday & Wednesday 3:00PM-4:30PM

Oyler officially has a Varsity Esports Team that competes in the Esports Ohio League with other schools from around the state. Mr. Nick started this program and with about 10 students, ranging from grades 7-12, Oyler partakes at the highest level with school such as Moeller, Milford, Mariemont, and Kings. Oyler was one of two CPS schools to have an Esports program going into the Spring of 2023 and they plan to grow the program to reach more students.

Saturday once a month 9:00AM-3:00PM

One Saturday a month, students in grades 7-12 get the opportunity to spend a day with the Adventure Crew taking part in different recreational and outdoor activities. Some of those activities include kayaking, high ropes courses, ziplining, ice skating, and skiing/snowboarding. Each adventure is free to students and they take up the entire day. 

Summers in July

At Oyler, Mr. Nick is attempting to implement individualized sports to students for them to see what other opportunities they may have when it comes to athletics. Golf is one of those sports that has been introduced to Oyler students. In parternship with the First Tee, a golf camp has been held the past two summers at Reeves Golf Course. During this time, students get the chance to take lessons, learn about clubs in the bag, and the rules of golf. In October of 2022, Junior High students got to take a trip to TopGolf with the First Tee where they spent two hours hitting golf balls and playing games. All with the end goal of learning more about the game of golf and helping them gain an interest in the sport.

Summers in July and Winter Sport Season

Last summer, Oyler started a bowling club where Mr. Nick took students to Western Bowl to learn the game and play with friends. In the winter of 2022-2023, Oyler had its very first bowling team that competed against other CPS schools on the weekends.
