Every week on Fridays, four to five students from grades Kindergarten through sixth grade record a newscast that is all about weekly updates in the school and the city. Students work on writing the script for the newscast, take the script home to practice the night before and import the script into the teleprompter. After that, a student will have the role of running the teleprompter, directing the newscast from behind the camera and anchoring the newscast.
